Endlich “Platz” zum Arbeiten, was ? Auch bei mir stand im Rahmen der Neuanschaffung eines G5 ein 23“ auf der Liste. Jetzt sitze ich davor und hab eimmer wieder ein leichtes Grinsen im Gesicht. Klasse Teil, gell ? Aber es wird trotzdem der Tag kommen wo Du festellen wirst : ”Ein bischen mehr wär’ auch nicht schlecht …." Aber wir wollen es mal nicht übertreiben ! Viel Spaß wünscht Andreas

Jaja… Naja ich hab mir jetzt für meinen XP-Rechner nen 19-Zoll TFT bestellt, is immerhin schon ne verbesserung zu meinem 17"-Röhren-Monitor (geht echt gar nicht zum Arbeiten), den ich davor eine ganze Weile hatte… und sieht dein Arbeitsbereich immer so sauber aus oder haste den nur fürs Foto aufgeräumt? Schnell alles in ne Schublade und hinterher wieder aufn tisch ;-)

Thank you guys. It’s indeed a pleasure working with this great piece of hardware — especially when I’m working in Photoshop or on my web site. Now it’s possible to view the sourcecode and the actual page simultaneously. @ZicklePop: I bought a Sony HS94 last fall. Link I still think that it’s a great display, especially because of its superb colors… but as mentioned above the resulotion of 1280x1024px was a bit too small. By the way. I don’t think that I will upgrade to a larger display that soon ;)

Zu Hause arbeite ich seit Jahren mit einer 1600er-Auflösung, zugegebenermaßen am PC und CRT. In der Agentur sitze ich am Mac und an zwei CRT-Monitoren, Platz hatte ich also schon immer, den ich nicht missen möchte. Dennoch beneide ich dich für den Chic auf deinem Schreibtisch! Grattulation! Da macht die Arbeit gleich doch doppelt Spass.

Stimmt, hab ich auch gelesen. Bisher hab ich jedoch noch nichts davon bemerkt. Sowohl die Helligkeitsverteilung, als auch die Farbdarstellung ist zumindest für meine Begriffe einwandfrei. Vielleicht wollte sie damit ihre Entscheidung für die 30” Variante rechtfertigen ;)

Schöner Arbeitsplatz — minimalistisch. Ich hoffe der neue Monitor wirkt sich positiv auf Deine Arbeiten aus und wir bekommen auch in Zukunft fresh´n´clean designs von Dir präsentiert. Mach weiter so — vor allem mit den Tutorials, die find ich einfach nur klasse. Gruss, Markus.

Ich arbeite an meinem Praktikumsplatz an nem 30", das ist schon zu groß weil man dauernd den Kopf drehen muss, leider kostet der für mich Privat zu viel, ist aber schon geil das Teil.

Kann ich mir gut vorstellen, dass man bei einem 30” öfters den Kopf bewegen muss :) Das muss ja ein riesiges Ding sein. Ich glaub so ca. 70% größer als das 23” Display.

Furthermore Mac OS provides a much better user experience for beginners as well as for experts. For example I don’t know any other operating system that has an as excellent and consistent support for keyboard shortcuts as Mac OS.

Mine lasted about 10 days, then started to suffer from digital noise — a sort of magenta flashing that spread across the screen over a period of about an hour until you couldn’t see the screen. Switching it off and letting it cool would restore the screen for about 20 minutes, then it would start again. Apple were uninterested and offered to replace it if I paid the postage. So I returned it and bought a Dell for about £400 less, built in memory card readers and — as far as I can tell — better screen quality. But the aluminium frame to the Apple monitor was beautiful.

Tja da kann man schon ein bisschen neidisch werden. Würde sich auch gut auf meinem Schreibtisch machen, aber leider fehlt mir hierzu derzeit leider das nötige “Kleingeld”. Naja aber vielleicht klappts ja doch noch demnächst. Man soll die Hoffnung nach einem plötzlichen Geldsegen ja nie aufgeben ;-) Viel Spass damit! -----
