iSnip icon
It must have been about two or three weeks ago that I received an email from Austin Sarner, asking me if I would be interested in designing a new application icon for iSnip — a small but yet very powerful snippet management tool.
It must have been about two or three weeks ago that I received an email from Austin Sarner, asking me if I would be interested in designing a new application icon for iSnip — a small but yet very powerful snippet management tool.
iSnip lives in the menu bar of Mac OS X and provides access to all of your text snippets, which can be managed and categorized in a very simple way. In order to use the snippets, just select the intended snippet from the menu and it is inserted in the frontmost application. And because I really liked the idea behind iSnip, I created a new application icon and sent it to Austin Sarner.
Once again I really tried to stick closely to Apple’s design guidelines, in order to ensure best possible integration into the look&feel of Mac OS X. The new icon is included in version 1.4 of iSnip, which can be downloaded from the official website.

Great looking icon Wolf! I looked at the application interface and it needs a bit of icon work around the application. Is he planning to have someone redesign the toolbar icons to match the icon?

Hi, great icon. I’m feeling sad to know that I cannot test this application in absence of a mac…

The icon really is great, and much appreciated. As for redesigning the toolbar icons, if Wolfgang is interested I’d be glad to discuss a price point.

Terrific work. It almost looks real! I do agree the Toolbar icon needs a lot of work to match the beautiful icon Wolfgang did.——-
