Pictures of the day

July 30, 2005

Wow, yesterday was definitely one of the hottest days in this year with temperatures up to 36°C — at least here in Graz.

The weather widget displaying 33°C

Unfortuntately I could only take a screenshot of my weather widget displaying 33°C. For my international readers: that’s about 91°F. Well I guess these high temperatures might have also been the reason for this strange dialog. “How much of the log file should be displayed? Choose a value between 128KB and 128KB.” ;) Anyway, have a nice weekend.

Weird dialog showing a slider from 128KB to 128KB

I can’t wait for the new section/post mentioned recently in the forum! :)

True, true… can’t wait any longer for some rain (or even better snow :o) ). Official we (vienna sourrounding) had 37°C but the thermometer outside — in the shadow — says 48°C!

Great. All of Europe is being heat struck. Only London (as usual) is 20°C and even lower. Oh… and it is raining too.

What did you choose on the dialog box?

That’s par for the course here in the states, I’m afraid. Link

Yes, it has been hotter than a bitch in the states lately. 90 degrees F for like the last 2 weeks.

Domenick

Send some heat over to Holland. Yesterdag I almost wore my winter jacket again.

Yesterday, my friends car registered an outdoor of temperature of 112 °F (44 °C) here in my favorite vacation spot of Paso Robles, California. Hard to believe people survived here before air conditioning.

We are up around 30° everyday in Darwin and that is in the Dry Season (Our Winter). In Outback Queensland it gets above 50° in summer.

Ausboy

Wow, that sounds really hot. Here in Graz the heat is gone — today we just had about 6°C in the morning, which is definitely way to cold for this time of year.

Wolfgang

I am glad that you only got to 35C in Graz. My brother was happy about that too. Now, yesterday we got a nasty 40C but with a dewpoint of 31C, it was aamazingly uncomfortable outside. Even by the pool with a cold beer!

It has been insanely hot over here in southeast America, about 100 F and extremely humid… I still play disc golf everyday though :)
