Over the last couple of weeks I was busy working on the site. Most of the changes took place in the background - namely by optimizing the use of templates, configuring caching behavior etc. - maybe you have already noticed a slight increase performance wise. I’m proud to announce that I made the switch. Fortunately I found a convenient way to migrate my old data to ExpressionEngine - namely by using EE’s MovableType import functionality. I just had to create a text file with a specified format and EE imported all entries and its associated comments. So more or less all sections of Bartelme Design should work. continue
Since my old ASP based CMS does not work on my brand new Apache server, I really had to look for a new content management system. I know I have written about this topic several times ago, but I never could convince myself to switch. Mainly because of the great amount of work. But now it is kinda urgent. continue
